How to get a Promotion Approved by Facebook

You don't need to get approval from Facebook if you only publicize your promotion in Facebook. However, if you want to publicize AND administer your promotion within Facebook you need to get your promotion approved by Facebook. Follow the instructions below to get your promotion approved. WHAT TO DO: If you have a Facebook rep

  1. Reach out to your dedicated Facebook sales rep as early as possible (preferably during the planning stages of your promotion) and ask them to grant you approval to administer your promotion within Facebook. Important: Approvals can take a long time especially if there are compliance issues with the sweepstakes/contest rules, as this will go thru legal teams. Therefore, we advise you to request approval as early as possible!

  2. Then email us proof of the approval you received from your Facebook rep to approvals@wildfireapp.com. Forwarding us the:

    • email correspondence with your Facebook rep
    • Facebook rep name
    • Facebook rep email address

is enough of a proof. We will make sure that your campaign will be fully administered within Facebook 12-24 hours from when you send us the email.
