Knowledge Base: How do I publish a story to the Wall of my Facebook Fan Page/Public Profile?

This tutorial teaches you in 3 easy steps how to publish a story to your Fan Page/Public Profile Wall. Note: you don't need to be a technical person to follow this tutorial. Anyone with basic computer knowledge can install the Promotions application. The tutorial assumes that you already have a Fan Page/Public Profile. If you don't have a Fan Page/Public Profile please click here to learn more about how to create a Fan Page/Public Profile. IMPORTANT: You have to be an admin of a Fan Page/Public Profile in order for this tutorial to work! This tutorial won't work if your company has a Fan Page/Public Profile but you are not an admin of that Fan Page/Public Profile.

Step 1: Go to your Facebook Fan Page/Public Profile

Go to your Facebook Fan Page/Public Profile. Make sure you are an Admin of the Facebook Fan Page/Public Profile.

Step 2: Click on the Promotions application icon in the Publisher Feature

Click on the Promotions application icon in the Publisher Feature.

Step 3: Select the Promotion you want to Publish and Click on the Share Button

Select the promotion you want to publish and click the Share button. OPTIONAL THINGS TO DO: We also advise you to write a personal message in the text box of the Publisher because it will make your feed story more interesting for all the fans that will see the story. If you include a link in your feed story we recommend you use bit.ly so that you can track the clicks you get from your fans.
