Knowledge Base: How do I add a Promotions Tab to my Facebook Fan Page/Public Profile?

This tutorial teaches you in 7 easy steps how to add a Promotions tab to your Facebook Fan Page/Public Profile.

The tutorial assumes that you already have a Fan Page/Public Profile. If you don't have a Fan Page/Public Profile please [click here] (http://help.wildfireapp.com/faqs/tutorials/facebook-fan-page-public...) to learn more about how to create a Fan Page/Public Profile.

NOTE: you don't need to be a technical person to follow this tutorial. Anyone with basic computer knowledge can install the Promotions application.

IMPORTANT: You have to be an administrator of a Fan Page/Public Profile in order for this tutorial to work! This tutorial won't work if your company has a Fan Page/Public Profile but you are not an administrator of the company Fan Page/Public Profile.

Step 1: Go to Your Fan Page/Public Profile and Click on Edit Page

Go to your Fan Page/Public Profile and click on the Edit Page link that is located below the Fan Page/Public Profile logo.

Step 2: Edit Promotions application settings

Scroll down and locate the Promotions application. Click on Application Settings.

IMPORTANT: If you don't see the Promotions application, then STOP READING THIS TUTORIAL and follow the How to Install the Promotions Application Tutorial.

Click on add in the Tab: Available (add) option and click Okay to save and close the modal box.

Step 3: Connect the Promotions application with your Wildfire Promotion Builder Account

Input the email address and password you are using for your Wildfire Promotion Builder account and click the Connect button. This will connect the Promotions application with your Wildfire Promotion Builder account.

Step 4: Click on Add to Fan Page Button(s)

Click on the "Add to Fan Page" button(s) of the campaign(s) you want to display on your Fan Page/Public Profile. This action adds the campaign(s) to your Fan Page/Public Profile. Note, you can publish multiple campaigns within the same application tab of a Fan Page/Public Profile. More importantly, you can publish a campaign on multiple Fan Pages/Public Profiles. All you need to do is to repeat step 1 to 3 of this tutorial for another Fan Page/Public Profile and you're done within a few clicks.

Step 5: Go to Your Fan Page/Public Profile and Click on Edit Page

Go to your Fan Page/Public Profile and click on the Edit Page link that is located below the Fan Page/Public Profile logo.

Step 6: Select Settings link

Go to your Wall tab of your Fan Page/Public Profile and click on the Settings link.

Step 7: Select Promotions as Default Landing Tab

In the drop-down menu for Default Landing Tab for Everyone Else select Promotions. This setting will direct all non-fan users to the Promotions tab when they visit your Facebook Page/Public Profile.

Once you have completed Step 7, you're all done with the setup of your promotion!
