Setting a timeline for your photo contest is quite simple. The Winner Selection Process you choose will affect the timeline fields that will need to be completed.
There are four potential methods of choosing a photo contest winner:

a. Submissions viewable to the public and users can show preference
b. Submissions NOT viewable to the public
a. Submissions visible to public and vote using “Vote Now” button
b. Submissions NOT visible to the public
a. Users do not show preference and voting is done by thumbs up/down
b. Users show preference and voting is done by "Vote Now" button
Option 4: Submission Period > Public Votes for Finalists > Judges Choose Winners > Winners Announced
a. Submissions not visible to the public during submission period and voting done by "Vote Now" button
b. Submissions visible to public and vote using “Vote Now” button
For more information and tips on selecting finalists and winners, see Managing Your White Label Campaign: Choosing Winners.
Keep in mind that your promotion will only appear on your Fan Page when the Submission Period specified in the timeline is before the current date and the Offline date is still in the future. If not, the tab your promotion lives on will display “no promotion published”.
Also keep in mind that when the submission period ends, you will not be able to retroactively add entries using the back-end of our system.
